Rao Tuthika, A veteran of Air Force and a fierce advocate of global peace & prosperity was born on the Birthday of Indian Air Force (Oct 8th) in India's spiritual family. And his family is settled in the United States for more than 35 years.
Holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration and Bachelors in Political Science, and Sociology. He is also a Candidate of Chartered Financial Analyst from CFA Institute, Charlottesville, USA. Today, he advances mutual understanding and respect among nations that is vital to promoting peace & prosperity throughout the world.
Rao inherited education & commerce from his father, a professor of commerce and love, and prosperity from his lovely mother. From his family and Air Force life, Rao acquired the morals, and manners required for a 21st Century gentleman.
Professionally, Rao follows Warren Buffet’s leadership in Stock Selections & Investment Banking and Personally, he follows Bill Gates leadership in philanthropic giving. He pledges to give away 99% of his wealth to the underprivileged across the world. Specially, for the orphaned children, battered women, senior citizens, military families, and the unemployed in the United States & India.
Rao has been serving as the Director of USCharities.org since Dec 2004 and is responsible for investing in Education & Job creation Projects for the United States & India. Rao is guided by CEO’s of the World's largest Corporations, Senior IAS or Foreign Service officers in the rank of Secretarie to the Federal/State Governments and also by the Senior Air Force, Army, and Navy Officers.
As on today, his hard work and leadership played a key role in funding over $51 billion dollars across the globe, and 98% of such funding within the United States helping Americans most in need. Such funding helped nonprofits to assist over 111 million people through 80 relief & recovery projects. Most recently, his hard work and leadership also played key role in President Obama’s announcement of US $10bn dollars (£6.2bn) in new trade deals with India. These deals would help companies like Boeing, GE, Caterpillar and others to support around 54,000 jobs in the United States.
Recognizing his charitable efforts at the highest levels of the nonprofit sector and the government, when President Bush invited India's Prime Minister Dr. Singh to Whitehouse, Rao was invited to receive a National Award in the U.S Congress Cannon House in July 2005. Over 125 Members of the U.S Congress, Senators, and Ambassadors from various countries attended and admired Rao’s nonprofit initiatives.
